Weather Update: According to IMD, a western disturbance in the northwest of our nation has caused another shift in the weather in several states. As a result, some states may observe a minor increase in temperature and a drop in the degree of coldness. There has been some respite from the extreme cold during the day and night in a few cities. Thus far, numerous remote areas throughout numerous states have experienced a rise in temperature. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow notice for Udham Singh Nagar and Haridwar due to heavy fog and chilly waves; fog is also predicted in Dehradun, Pauri, and Nainital. Speaking of Saturday, the state's weather stayed clear and the day's bright sunshine provided some relief from the cold, albeit the morning and evening hours of the day were still very chilly.

According to the IMD, there is a high probability of dense to extremely dense fog in certain areas of Uttar Pradesh; there are also isolated pockets of dense fog in Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, and Chandigarh; and there are isolated pockets of dense fog in Uttarakhand, Madhya Pradesh, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal & Sikkim, Bihar, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura. There are probably isolated pockets of cold to extremely cold weather in Uttar Pradesh, as well as isolated pockets of cold weather in Uttarakhand and Bihar. There's a good chance that certain areas of Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim will experience cold waves.
