Weather Update: According to the IMD, dense fog conditions are very likely to persist for a few hours in the morning over a few isolated pockets over the following areas: Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Uttar Pradesh; Jammu division on January 10; Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, north Rajasthan, north Madhya Pradesh, Odisha on January 10 and 11; and Bihar, West Bengal & Sikkim, Assam & Meghalaya, Mizoram & Tripura on January 10–12. Severe Cold Day conditions are probably going to persist in some areas of Punjab, Haryana, and isolated areas of West Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan on January 10. These conditions are probably going to transition to Cold Day conditions in a few places on 10th Jan and then subside.

According to the IMD Pune, there is a high probability of rainfall starting on January 10 in a number of Maharashtra locations. Rainfall is expected in certain areas starting on January 10 in Konkan-Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, and Vidarbha. It is expected that the skies will stay clear starting on January 11. Beginning on January 10, Pune residents should expect partly cloudy skies that occasionally turn cloudy with lightning, thunder, and light rain.
