Weather Update February 24 2026: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted that light to moderate rain is expected at many regions in Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Arunachal Pradesh along with few places in Telangana, Vidharbha and Marathwada.
Isolated light to moderate rain as well as thunderstorms are also likely to happen over southeast Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Vidarbha, south Chhattisgarh and Tamil Nadu. The IMD also predicted that thunderstorms and light rain are also likely over Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand.

Bageshwar, Joshimath, Kaladhungi, Lalkuan, Mukhani, Raipur, Jwalapur, Kathgodam, Rudrapur, Kashipur, Rishikesh, Ramnagar and Manglaur are likely to experience bone-chilling weather conditions with a possibility of rain and snowfall at some isolated regions.

Dehradun, Haridwar, Roorkee, Haldwani, Pantnagar, Ranikhet and Dwarahat are likely to witness the same set of weather conditions throughout the day.
Himachal Pradesh Weather Update
Solan, Kullu, Bilaspur, Lahaul-Spiti, Shimla and Mandi are likely to be troubled by consistent, heavy rain and snowfall. Commuters are advised to observe a high sense of care and diligence.
Uttar Pradesh Weather Update
Muzaffarnagar, Ayodhya, Mathura, Shahjahanpur, Raebareli, Orai, Sultanpur, Hapur, Firozabad, Modinagar, Jhansi, Etawah, Sitapur and Rampur are likely to experience a surge in minimum temperatures by 2-4 degree celcius.

Khanna, Phagwara, Amandip Singh, Nabha, Barnala, Abohar, Gurdaspur, Rajpura and Malerkotla are likely to witness a hot and dry day, suggesting a horrible start to summers ahead.
Kotkapura, Rupnagar, Fazilka, Dinanagar, Sunam, Muktsar Sahib and Sangrur may witness the same set of weather conditions throughout the day.
Madhya Pradesh Weather Update
Weather in Vidisha, Neemuch, Damoh, Hoshangabad, Sehore, Dewas, Satna, Ratlam, Rewa, Murwara, Singrauli, Burhanpur and Sagar may replicate summer-like hot and dry conditions.
Rajasthan Weather Update
Jhalawar, Jhunjhunu, Jaipur, Jodhpur, Alwar, Churu, Dausa, Bharatpur, Sri Ganganagar, Sikar, Baran, Deeg, Bundi, Chittorgarh, Ajmer, Udaipur and Bhilwara may experience violent thunderstorms and moderate to heavy rainfall.
