Weather Update

Weather Update: Data on temperature, humidity, wind speed, and other meteorological parameters are available from the Indian Metrological Department (IMD). A new easterly wave period is expected to bring mild to moderate rainfall to several locations, with isolated heavy rains predicted over Southern regions of India, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD). Parts of the Western Himalayan region are expected to see rain and snowfall, according to IMD’s prediction. Over the previous few days, light to moderate rainfall has been experienced in some portions of South India.

Feeble Western Disturbance may lead to snowfall & rain

Light rainfall or snowfall in isolated areas is expected across Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit-Baltistan, Muzaffarabad, Himachal Pradesh, on November 2 and 3, and over Uttarakhand on November 3, due to the weak Western Disturbance. Meanwhile, a trough of low in easterlies over Southwest and adjoining Southeast Bay of Bengal in lower tropospheric levels is expected to bring light to moderate rainfall over several parts of South India, influenced by strong Easterly or Northeasterly winds from the Bay of Bengal to South Peninsular India.
