Weather Update: Fog affects Delhi-NCR and UP; Rainfall to affect THESE states today

Weather Update: The weather across all of North India, including Delhi, has changed slightly as of today, November 7. Delhi-NCR and UP have been affected by fog. Morning skies have been covered in haze because of pollution and fog. The temperature too has dropped lower than usual.

In various states, including Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, and Jammu and Kashmir, the probability of rain is present, according to IMD. In addition to this, there has also been a change in wind direction, which may provide some pollution respite. Please let us know how the weather is doing nationwide.

Delhi

The national capital region will experience the fog in morning from now on. The skies are predicted to be partly cloudy as well. However, the minimum temperature will be 17 degrees while the maximum will be 31 degrees.

Mumbai

The city and its suburbs will continue to have smoky days with partial cloudy-ness above in the sky. However, there are no chances of rain affecting the city for a few days. Maximum temperature will be 33 degrees and minimum temperature will be 24 degrees.

Chennai

As per the latest weather update, the city will experience isolated showers along with breezy winds. Heavy rainfall is expected to hit the city from Tuesday or Wednesday morning. The temperature of the city will range between 29 - 25 degrees.

Which state will recieve rainfall today?

Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Lakshadweep, and Andaman and Nicobar Islands will experience scattered showers with thunderstorms. Meanwhile, Andhra Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, and Himachal Pradesh are likely to recieve isolated rains and thunderstorms.

A persistent western disturbance is present over Jammu & Kashmir and the surrounding area, and a cyclonic circulation has been induced over Punjab.

For at least the following two to three days, easterly breezes will continue to impact. As a result, the contribution of smoke from farm fires will continue to be reduced. But starting on November 9, the winds will once more shift their course, which will cause pollution to rise even higher.
