Dense fog will cover many portions of these states
According to IMD, dense to extremely dense fog conditions are expected to be present on February 5, 2024, in the morning across a portion of Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, and Delhi, as well as in a few isolated areas on February 6, 2024. On February 5, 2024, there is a high probability of dense fog in certain areas of West Uttar Pradesh, north Rajasthan, Gangetic West Bengal, Assam, and Meghalaya, as well as across Odisha on February 5 and 6. There is a possibility of isolated thunderstorms with lightning, hail, and strong winds over Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim. There is also a chance of isolated thunderstorms with lightning, gusty winds, between 30 and 40 kmph, and lightning over East Uttar Pradesh and Bihar.
