Weather Update: According to IMD, there’s a possibility that there would be rainfall today in few regions of the nation. It may continue to be experienced in Northeast India during the next five days. It may include the states like Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Meghalaya and Tripura. The agency has predicted high winds in Delhi during the day. In the Delhi NCR, the Meteorological Department has also predicted light rain. In the regions of Odisha, Bihar and West Bengal, the IMD also forecasts severely hot and humid conditions.

IMD forecasts that there will be likely rainfall across areas of Arunachal Pradesh as well as Assam, Nagaland, Manipur and Mizoram. It is highly expected that certain areas of Assam and Tripura may experience hot and sunny weather. Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karnataka will be dominant in several areas compared to some areas of West Bengal. Heat wave situations are most likely present in West Bengal. The same situation can be present over Jharkhand( including Ranchi), Bihar(including Patna) , Odisha as well as West Bengal. Maharashtra, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and UP( with its capital) are likely to have hot day situation.
