Weather Update: Starting from today, many parts of India are expected to receive less rainfall. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has announced that there will be a notable decrease in rainfall, thunderstorms, and hailstorms in the northwest and east regions of India, starting from March 21. However, some areas of northeast India are still likely to experience heavy rainfall until March 22. Meanwhile, a new western disturbance has been forecast to reach on 23 of March, further increasing rainfall over several states.
There are alerts for thunderstorms that have been announced in various places in India. These places include Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, southeast Uttar Pradesh, coastal Tamil Nadu, and south Andhra Pradesh.
Delhi
Tuesday is forecast to be pleasant in the national capital today. No rains are projected, however, isolated regions could receive light showers. Sky will remain partially cloudy. For today, the maximum temperature will be 23 degrees while the minimum will be 16 degrees.
Mumbai
Partly overcast conditions are forecast for city and its suburbs today. A drop in temperature will also be witnessed, and no major change is anticipated for a couple of days more. For today, the maximum temperature will be 29 degrees and minimum will be 25 degrees.
Chennai
As per the latest weather update, Chennai will mostly remain clear today. Some regions are likely to be covered by clouds, though. The maximum, temperature, for today will be 32 degrees and minimum will be 27 degrees.
Kolkata
IMD predicts moderate rains in Kolkata today along with cloud sky and strong winds. From tomorrow, the sky will begin to remain clear. The maximum temperature, for today, will be 29 degrees while the minimum will be 22 degrees.
