Weather update: Heavy rain alert in Delhi-NCR, Rajasthan and MP - see citywise forecast here

Weather update: Heavy rain is expected in the region of the Western Himalayas in the next 24 hours. Light rain may also greet in adjoining areas of Punjab, Haryana, Delhi NCR, Rajasthan, UP, and MP, said IMD’s señior scientist Naresh Kumar. 

The weather has remained pleasant in the capital of Delhi due to recent rainfall. Rain is currently thrashing various states even before the onset of the monsoon. According to the Meteorological Department, the process of rain is going to continue in North West India for the next 4 days

Delhi weather update 

Delhi will have a sunny day today but the temperature will be in check. The maximum and minimum temperatures on Friday are expected to be 33 degrees Celsius ad 24 degrees Celsius, respectively. 

Mumbai weather update 

Mumbai will have a humidity level of 79 percent. The maximum temperature in the city is expected to be 33 degrees Celsius, while the minimum will be recorded at 30 degrees Celsius. 

Kolkata weather update 

The maximum and minimum temperatures on Friday are likely to be around 40°C and 29°C, respectively.

Chennai weather update

After heavy showers in a few parts, the temperature in Chennai reduced from 2-5 degrees Celsius. The maximum temperature in the city on Friday is expected to be at 37 degrees Celsius, while the minimum will be at 29 degrees Celsius.
