Weather Update: Although extremely heavy rainfall is continuing pelting the southern states of Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karaikal, Puducherry, and Mahe, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted that several northern states will see moderate to severe rainfall in the following week until November 9.
The weather service predicts that a new Western Disturbance will begin to strike the Western Himalayan Region on November 4th night and the adjacent lowlands on November 5th.

IMD also reported that, from 3 to 9 November, a cyclonic circulation over Tamil Nadu and its surroundings will bring moderate to heavy rain, thunderstorms, and lightning to Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal, Kerala, and Mahe on the majority of days of the week.
Delhi
The pattern of foggy and smoky days will continue in the national capital region due to the pollution. However, the cold-ish weather will continue to become more aggressive and Delhities will exerience a cold weather. However, there are no chances of rain happening today.
Mumbai
The coastal city will continue to have shiny and brighty days. There are no chances of rain happening today, whereas, at the same time, the nights areexpected to be more chilly from now on.

Chennai
As per the latest weather update, Chennai will continue to have more heavy rainfalls with thunderstorms. Due to the ongoing conditions, the streets have been waterlogged, leading to an increase in problems of natives.
Which state to experience rainfall?
Southern Tamil Nadu and Kerala will experience heavy rainfall with thunderstorms. On the northern coast of Andhra Pradesh, stray thunder is likely to hit. Whereas NCR and adjoining parts of Uttar Pradesh will experience foggy mornings.
