Weather Update: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) informed on Thursday that active monsoon conditions are expected to persist in the northern Peninsular region, central India, and the adjacent eastern areas for the next 3-4 days. Additionally, heavy to extremely heavy rainfall is anticipated in the western parts of Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, and Gujarat over the next three days.

In the eastern part of the nation, the upcoming weather forecast suggests a trend of scattered to widespread light to moderate rainfall, along with the possibility of thunderstorms and lightning. There is a likelihood of thunderstorms and showers occurring in Uttarakhand, Jammu-Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, and Haryana. Additionally, heavy rainfall is anticipated in western Maharashtra and the southeastern part of Gujarat. Western Rajasthan is expected to experience maximum temperatures of 40 degrees Celsius or higher.

Delhi

Bringing change in the conditions, the morning has been forecast to remain mostly cloudy in Delhi. However, the sky will then turn sunny and occasionally partially cloudy from noon. For today, the maximum temperature will be 33 degrees while the minimum will be 27 degrees with humidity at 71%.

Mumbai

As per the latest weather update, the city and its suburbs are projected to receive intense rainfalls and thunderstorms the entire day. No change is likely in the weather conditions in the coming days. For today, the maximum temperature will be 30 degrees while the minimum will be 27 degrees with humidity at 91%.

Chennai

IMD has predicted that Chennai will remain mostly cloudy the entire day. There are chances of a little drizzle as well. For today, the maximum temperature will be 34 degrees while the minimum will be 27 degrees with humidity at 76%.

Kolkata

Kolkata will continue with its trend of being engulfed in clouds and experiencing isolated thunderstorms in patches. This will continue for a few days more. For today, the maximum temperature will be 31 degrees while the minimum will be 27 degrees with humidity at 87%.
