Weather Update: IMD predicts that scorching conditions would likely lessen over East India and heavy rainfall will likely hit the Northeast. It is expected by IMD that Strong southwesterly winds are predicted by IMD to continue in the lower tropospheric levels, extending from the Bay of Bengal to Northeast India. IMD has predicted that starting from today, there would be rainfall over Western regions, along with thunderstorms. The minimum temperature in Delhi yesterday was 32 degrees Celsius, and the highest temperature is predicted to be 42 degrees Celsius for today. It is predicted that Delhi would see a pitch-black sky and possibly rain in certain areas.

According to the IMD, there is a very good chance of rainfall in Odisha, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka. Over Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Kerala, hot weather is most likely to prevail. In certain areas of Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, and Karnataka, heat wave conditions are most likely to persist.
