Weather Update: Heavy rains make a comeback in THESE states! Check the latest forecast here

Weather Update: In a change of conditions, IMD has forecast rainy conditions across different parts of the country including the dry and hot North. As per the latest update, very intense rainfall is predicted for several regions, including Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam, and Telangana. Heavy showers may also affect East Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Marathawada, Vidarbha, Konkan, Goa, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Kerala, and Mahe.

Fairly widespread rain with thunderstorms may soak Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Odisha, Jharkhand, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathawada, Vidharbha, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam, Rayalaseema, and Karnataka.

Scattered showers and thunderstorms could affect Assam, Meghalaya, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Bihar, East Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and East Madhya Pradesh. Isolated rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms is expected over Arunachal Pradesh, West Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu-Kashmir, Ladakh, East Rajasthan, West Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, and Puducherry.

Delhi

Despite rain and thunderstorms in other regions of the country, Delhi has been forecast to remain mostly sunny the entire day. No relief is currently projected for the national capital. For today, the maximum temperature will be 36 degrees while the maximum will be 26 degrees with humidity at 76%.

Mumbai

IMD has forecast a partly cloudy sky for Mumbai and its suburbs. No rain is likely in the range for upcoming two-three days. For today, the maximum temperature will be 32 degrees while the maximum will be 27 degrees with humidity at 84%.

Chennai

Chennai will continue with its spell of intense rains and mostly cloudy sky. No change in conditions is likely for a week more. For today, the maximum temperature will be 31 degrees while the maximum will be 27 degrees with humidity at 80%.

Kolkata

As per the latest weather update, Thunderstorms will continue to drench up Kolkata. Similar to Chennai, no relief is currently on the cards in a few upcoming days as well. For today, the maximum temperature will be 33 degrees while the maximum will be 28 degrees with humidity at 84%.
