Weather Update: Thundershower in Ranchi and Patna, Heavy Snowfall in Upper Regions, Check Conditions in Delhi and Lucknow

Weather Update: A yellow alert has been issued by the India Meteorological Department (IMD) for a number of states in our nation due to the probability of thunderstorms with lightning. In addition, the IMD issues a warning about a trough or wind discontinuity that increases the possibility of thunderstorm activity from a cyclonic circulation over southern regions including Tamil Nadu. In addition, there may be storms and heavy rain in Northeastern India. Thunderstorms are also predicted for Central and South Peninsular India. The weather office stated that there will likely be strong surface winds in Delhi along with clear sky during the day and partly overcast skies in the evening. It is likely to have thundershower in some parts of Ranchi and Patna. As per IMD there will be snowfall in the upper regions of the country today.

IMD predicts that there will likely be isolated areas of rainfall over Arunachal Pradesh as well as isolated areas Assam and Manipur. It is quite probable that certain regions of Andhra Pradesh, Kerala and Tamil Nadu may have hot weather conditions. However, heat wave conditions in certain areas of West Bengal expected to experience severe heat wave conditions. The same situation is determined for Odisha as well as some parts of Bihar and Jharkhand including their capital region. It is highly probable that in certain areas of Uttar Pradesh including Lucknow and Madhya Pradesh would have warm nighttime conditions.
