Weather Update: According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the country is expected to witness almost dry weather for the next four days, with only a few isolated pockets receiving light rainfall. The western Himalayan region and northeastern states may experience isolated thunderstorms and lightning. However, no significant change in temperatures is expected during this period. This dry weather is due to the absence of any active weather system over the region.
Some regions in Gangetic West Bengal, Jharkhand, and Odisha may experience light rain until March 28 or 29, followed by another spell of rain starting from March 30 and continuing until April 2nd. Meanwhile, East Uttar Pradesh and Bihar are likely to receive light to moderate rain from March 30 to April 2nd. After days of moderate rains, relief is forecast in Kolkata for today. As per the latest update, some mild to moderate cloud cover will be there today but no rain. The maximum temperature for today will be 32 degrees and the minimum will be 24 degrees.
