Weather Update: As per the latest forecast by the Indian Meterological Department, a heatwave alert has been issued for Goa and parts of Karnataka. The heatwave will be accompanied by high temperature and warms winds. However, IMD has also predicted that rains will lash Delhi on the next week.
A new Western Disturbance will become active in the Himalayan region on the night of March 12 and is expected to persist until March 14. Today, there is a possibility of light to moderate rainfall and thundershowers in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra, and Gujarat, with the likelihood of hailstorms at numerous locations.
Delhi
The national capital is predicted to remain mostly clear. However, some regions could experience partly overcast sky. For today, the maximum temperature will be 31 degrees and minimum will be 18 degrees.
Mumbai
The city and its suburbs are predicted to be clear and bright today. The sky will remain clear and afternoons will continue to remain warmer. For today, the maximum temperature will be 36 degrees and minimum will be 26 degrees.
Chennai
IMD predicts a comparatively pleasant day for Chennai. Some regions could experience mild cloud cover. The maximum temperature will be 31 degrees while the minimum will be 24 degrees.

Kolkata
As per the latest weather update, Kolkata is predicted to remain warm and have clear sky as well. No major change is expected today. For today, the maximum temperature will be 34 degrees and minimum will be 24 degrees.
