Weather Update: IMD predicts moderate rains; pleasant days ahead? Check latest update here

Weather Update: Amidst the rising temperatures in several states in March, people have received relief as moderate rains lashed the country yesterday. Now, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecasted that this spell of rainfall will continue until Tuesday. Not just rains, but hailstorms will also be witnessed in many regions. However, today will comparatively be less wet and heavy rains are predicted for tomorrow.

Many places such as Delhi, Mumbai, UP, Tamil Nadu, etc. received rains yesterday along with cloudy atmosphere throughout the day. The same is predicted for today as well. The states include Maharashtra, Karnataka, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Delhi-NCR, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Punjab, Bihar, and upper reaches as well.

Delhi

The national capital is predicted to remain mostly cloudy throughout the day. Brief spells of rain will lash the city today. However, the day will mostly remain pleasant and heavy rains will lash the region tomorrow. For today, the maximum temperature will be 28 degrees and minimum will be 19 degrees.

Mumbai

The city and its suburbs are predicted to receive moderate rainfall for the complete day. Also, there will be significant cloud cover throughout the day. The maximum temperature will be 31 degrees and minimum will be 26 degrees.

Chennai

Chennai has been predicted to be lashed by heavy rains as well. The spell will continue for a week more with temperature drop and continuous rains. For today, the maximum temperature will be 30 degrees and minimum will be 27 degrees.

Kolkata

As per the latest weather update, Kolkata is also forecast to receive heavy rains today. This weather activity is will continue until Tuesday. For today, the maximum temperature will be 30 degrees and minimum will be 24 degrees.
