Weather Update: The Indian Meteorological Department predicts that various regions of India will receive rainfall today and tomorrow. Thunderstorms and isolated precipitation are anticipated over central and adjoining parts of Western India for today. However, Delhi, UP, Haryana, are predicted to witness surge in temperatures.
On March 7, a fresh western disturbance is expected to affect the Western Himalayan Region, leading to light isolated rainfall or snowfall in Ladakh and Jammu and Kashmir. Meanwhile, in Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand, isolated snowfall or rainfall is very likely to occur on 8, and 9.
Delhi is predicted to be engulfed with mild to moderate cloud cover. However, the afternoons will continue to be warmer rather than pleasant. For today, the maximum temperature will be 30 degrees and minimum will be 17 degrees.
Mumbai
As per the latest weather update, the city and its suburbs are predicted to continue with warmer days. No major update is predicted for the region, though. For today, the maximum temperature will be 36 degrees and minimum will be 26 degrees.
Chennai
Chennai is predicted to be mostly sunny and bright today. Some mild cover will be observed in the evening, though. For today, the maximum temperature will be 31 degrees and minimum will be 25 degrees.
IMD has predicted that Kolkata will continue to remain pleasant today, though, warm afternoons will continue due to surge in temperature. For today, the maximum temperature will be 36 degrees and minimum will be 24 degrees.
