Weather Update: Rain warning in these states

Today, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Male, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Karaikal in South India's coastal regions are all under an IMD warning of heavy rain. Over West Pakistan and the surrounding regions, the Western Disturbance is being detected as a mid-level cyclonic circulation. Its effects will be felt in the near future in Rajasthan, Haryana, Punjab, and the nation's capital, Delhi.

A yellow signal, which denotes the possibility of severe rainfall, has been issued for 11 districts today as a precaution. Ten of these districts will still be under a yellow warning tomorrow. It includes Thrissur, Palakkad, Malappuram, Kozhikode, Wayanad, Alappuzha, Kottayam, Idukki, Ernakulam, and Pathanamthitta.
