Weather Update: The temperature is dropping across the states of northern India. The rainy season is still going strong in the southern states at the same time. According to weather forecasting agency, IMD, the coasts of South Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu will continue to see rough to extremely rough rains. Along the coast, the wind can gust to 80 kmph from a steady 60 kmph.
However, the fog and decreasing temperatures continue to affect the natives in north, the severe rains in south have been doing the exactly same as well. The situations in South India are likely to improve in few days, though.

As the city is already suffering hazardness due to cyclone 'mandous', Chennai will experience heavy rainfalls with thunderstorms. The intensity is likely to weaken in several days, though. For today, alongwith heavy rains, the temperature will range in between 28 to 25 degrees.
West Bengal's capital will continue to remain pleasant as the weather is expected to be calmer in comparision to other places. There are no chances of clouds or rains affecting the city. For today, the maximum temperature will be 29 degrees while the minimum will be 17 degrees.
