Weather Update: Mandous devastates South India, cold conditions intensifies in Delhi & North India, forecast here

Weather Update: As the country experiences changing weather patterns, Cyclone Mandus has caused devastation. The storm's impact will still be felt in numerous states, despite the fact that it has diminished since reaching the coast of Tamil Nadu. In the meantime, it appears that Uttar Pradesh is experiencing an increase in cold and fog outbreaks. Delhi's weather is still dry, and the damage caused by pollution is still severe.

After causing damage in numerous locations in Tamil Nadu, Cyclone Mandus has weakened. In three hours of destruction, about 65 trees had fallen here. The minimum temperature rose on Sunday and remained above freezing in most places, following snowfall in Kashmir's higher elevations for the second day in a row. The report indicates that there has been light to moderate snowfall in Jammu and Kashmir's middle and higher regions. In parallel, Himachal Pradesh's hilly regions have experienced snowfall.

Delhi

IMD predicts a partially cloudy sky for the national capital today. However, despite the clouds in the day, the fog will also continue to affect the citizens. As per the latest weather update, Delhi will experience more cold-ish weather from 15th December. For today, the maximum temperature will be 27 degrees while the minimum will stay 12 degrees.

Mumbai

There is no major change in weather pattern of city and suburbs, with soe clouds taking over the city. There are no chances of rain and the humidity is also expected to be on the higher end. For today, the maximum temperature will be 32 degrees and minimum will be 26 degrees.

Chennai

Cyclone Mandous will continue to put forth its effect in Chennai as heavy rainfall with thunderstorms are likely to lash the city. Though, IMD predicts that the city will finally get its relief after the mid-week. For today, the temperature will stay in the range of 28 to 25 degrees.

Kolkata

Kolkata is predicted to be sunny and pleasant today as well. There is not much change in the weather conditions of the city. Also, the temperature, for today, will be 29 to 18 degrees.

Which state will receive rainfall today?

Over South Andhra Pradesh, South Karnataka, and North Interior Tamil Nadu, light to moderate rainfall with a few isolated heavy falls are expected. Rest of Karnataka, Kerala, and Lakshadweep may have light to moderate rainfall. Over Telangana, there may be some light rain mixed with one or two moderate bouts. South Madhya Maharashtra, Vidarbha, Marathwada, and South Odisha could have light rain.
