Weather update: Even in the month of February, several cities are baking with the temperature soaring high. The maximum temperatures in various states are higher than usual. However mild rain is predicted to fall in several areas of the nation over the next few days. But, the IMD has also noted that because of the already record-breaking temperatures, summer this year will begin early.
The India Meteorological Service anticipates light to moderate rain showers in the northeastern states by February 24. (IMD). On the other side, overcast weather is expected in Delhi for the next few days.
Delhi
Friday morning is predicted to be foggy in the capital. Light rain showers are also expected throughout the city tomorrow. The highest temperature and lowest temperature will be 29 degree and 14 degree respectively on Friday.
Mumbai
There will probably still be some cloud cover in Mumbai and its surrounds. Today’s peak and low temperatures are, respectively, 34 and 24 degrees.
Chennai
Friday will be a nice day in Chennai as there won’t be as much humidity. In the coming days, the state will see a similar trend. The high and low temperatures for today are 31 and 22 degrees, respectively.
Kolkata
As per the latest weather update, Kolkata is experiencing an early heat wave. On Friday, the maximum temperature will shoot up to 35 degrees while the minimum will be 23 degrees.
