Weather Update March 7 2026: North India Braces for Peak Summer Heat, Heatwave Alert In Himachal, Gujarat and Rajasthan! Delhi NCR to Brace For Hot Days Ahead

Weather Update March 7 2026: Dharamshala, Mandi, Solan, Palampur, Baddi, Nahan, Sundarnagar, Chamba, Kullu and Una may experience pleasant days, especially during early morning and late evening hours. Little rainfall may be a slight possibility.

Weather Update March 7 2026: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted that northern states like Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan, Delhi and Uttar Pradesh are likely to experience scorching heat. In contrast, the states of Uttarakhand, Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh may witness light rain and snowfall.

The IMD has issued a heat wave alert for the states of Himachal Pradesh, Gujarat and Rajasthan. Several parts in Jharkhand, Bihar, Odisha and the Northeastern states are likely to witness strong winds and rain coupled with thunderstorms.

Weather Update March 7 2026-Madhya Pradesh Weather Update

Damoh, Morena, Rewa, Guna, Bhind, Khargone, Hoshangabad, Itarsi, Sehore, Betul, Seoni are likely to experience peak June-July like summer heat in the month of March itself. Weather conditions are no good for several parts in Jabalpur, Gwalior, Ujjain, Sagar, Dewas, Satna, Ratlam, Neemuch, Shivpuri and Indore.

Haryana Weather Update

Bhiwani, Sirsa, Bahadurgarh, Narnaul, Fatehabad, Gohana, Tohana, Narwana, Safidon, Samalkha, Radaur, Barwala and Charkhi Dadri are likely to witness the Sun god’s wrath long before the actual arrival of summer months. Gurgaon, Panipat, Yamunanagar, Rohtak, Hisar, Thanesar, Kaithal, Rewari, Palwal, Hansi, Jind, Karnal, Sonipat, Panchkula and Ambala are also likely to experience similar set of weather conditions.

Himachal Pradesh Weather Update

Kasauli, Dalhousie, Manali, Keylong, Reckong Peo, Rampur, Jubbal, Rohru, Theog, Arki, Sarkaghat, Nadaun, Barsar, Hamirpur, Bilaspur, Dharamshala, Mandi, Solan, Palampur, Baddi, Nahan, Sundarnagar, Chamba, Kullu and Una may experience pleasant days, especially during early morning and late evening hours. Little rainfall may be a slight possibility.

Southern States

Vijayapura, Belagavi, Kalaburagi, Davanagere, Mysuru, Mangaluru, Hubballi, Dharwad, Chennai, Coimbatore, Madurai, Tiruchirappali, Salem, Kochi, Thiruvananthapuram, Kozhikode, Thrissur and Kollam may witness little rain during the early morning or late evening hours with scorching heat during peak afternoon hours.

Vijayawada, Guntur, Tirupati, Nellore, Hyderabad, Visakhapatnam, Secunderabad, Warangal, Karimnagar and Nizamabad are also expected to witness the same weather conditions.
