Earlier, due to Biparjoy, the temperature of the capital decreased for the last two-three days. Despite this, people did not get relief from the heat. The windy summer has turned into a sultry one due to high humidity and less rain. This made people more upset. Now there is no possibility of respite from the heat for the next few days. Although there may be drizzle till June 20, but it will not be a relief. According to the Meteorological Department, the maximum temperature on Sunday was 38.6 degrees. This is normal. At the same time, the minimum temperature was 28.6 degrees. It was one degree above normal. The humidity level in the air ranged from 54 to 76 percent.
The maximum temperature can remain up to 39 and the minimum temperature can remain up to 27 degrees. At the same time, there may be drizzle on June 20 as well. Partly cloudy will be seen. The maximum temperature will be 38 degrees and the minimum temperature will be 27 degrees. It will also be partly cloudy between 21st to 24th June. The maximum temperature can be around 38 to 39 degrees and the minimum temperature can be around 28 to 29 degrees. Now there is no possibility of respite from the heat till June 24. Due to Biparjoy, the capital got the relief it needed.
58 percent less rain so far in June
June has received 58 per cent less rainfall than normal so far. Last year, about 67 per cent less rainfall was recorded in the whole of June. In June 2022, only 24.5 mm of rain was received during June against the normal rainfall (74.1 mm). This time there has been 11.4 mm of rain so far. According to the Meteorological Department, the maximum temperature on Sunday was 38.6 degrees. This is normal. There, the minimum temperature was 28.6 degrees. It was one degree above normal. The humidity level in the air ranged from 54 to 76 percent. There were heavy showers in some areas around 8 am on Sunday.
