Weather Update: With Delhi now returning to its summer usual, the Southern India's weather is taking unusual turns. After monsoon bid its farewell a couple of days back in the national capital, some parts of UP started to receive clear sky as well.
Now in the latest weather update from IMD, Northeast India and Southern Peninsular India will continue to receive rainfall for a few days more. The Southwest Monsoon has shifted backward from Punjab and Chandigarh. While, other major parts of the country have retreated as well.

Delhi
Since monsoon has withdrawn itself from Delhi-NCR, Rajasthan, UP, the sky will be generally clear with negligible chance of rain happening.
Mumbai
The city is predicted to receive light showers. The same climate is expected to last until the weekend.
Chennai
IMD has stated that the pleasant weather will continue during day time but there is possibility of moderate rainfall with thunderstorms in isolated areas after the evening.
North India
Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Delhi, and parts of Rajasthan are expected to have a clear weather. The maximum temperature will staying within 30 to 35 degrees.

Bihar, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh
These states are predicted to receive light to moderate rains. Isolated areas can also report some heavy rainfall alongside the pleasant climate.
Jharkhand, West Bengal
With cyclonic circulation in the region, it is expected that these states will receive heavy rainfall. Sikkim is included in the list as well.
South India
Scattered rainfall is predicted over Southern India. Tamil Nadu's weather is likely to shift from the evening.
Northeast India
There is possibility of light rains in the sister states i.e. Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, and Mizoram and others in the region.
