Weather Update: Even after the constant rain, IMD has predicted that the Eastern region will face an increase in rainfall activity. The metrological department has issued heavy rainfall warnings in the states.
Central and east-central India will also face increased rainfall over the next week. The residents are advised to pay caution and only leave the house when needed, as there can be a flood-like situation.
The Gangetic West Bengal and Maharastra will also face heavy rainfall for 3-4 days. Rainfall is also expected in northwest India, as a moderate rainfall warning has been issued over several states.
Weather Update: Delhi
The rainfall will return to Delhi and is here to stay. The monsoon will stay in Delhi for a week, with light rainfall predicted over several areas. Today’s temperature will be 32 degrees to 27 degrees.
Mumbai
There will be a slight break from the constant rainfall in Mumbai. The sky will be cloudy with little to no chance of rainfall. Today’s temperature will be between 29 degrees to 27 degrees.
Chennai
Today will finally mark the return of monsoon as residents will get relief from the heat. Rainfall remains in Chennai from August 3 to August 6. For today, the temperature will be between 36 degrees to 28 degrees.
Kolkata
The day will be cloudy with a strong possibility of moderate rainfalls over the isolated areas. IMD has issued a moderate rainfall warning in the state’s capital. The temperature will be 31 degrees to 27 degrees.
