Weather Update: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted that it's going to rain in many parts of India over the next few days. It has been forecast that it will rain with thunder and hailstorm in northwest India on April 4, but after that, the rain will become less intense. From Sunday to Tuesday, there was a lot of light or moderate rainfall with thunder and lightning in the western Himalayan region.
On April 4th, there will probably be some scattered light or moderate rain and thunderstorms over the plains of northwest India. UP and Maharashtra states will experience more heatwaves in the coming days. The temperature in most parts of the country will be higher than usual by two to four degrees Celsius. However, it is expected to be normal in most of India for the next five days.
The IMD has predicted that Delhi will be clear and sunny today. There are no chances of clouds affecting the region today. Humidity will be moderate today, while no major change is anticipated in upcoming days. For today, the maximum temperature will be 31 degrees and minimum will be 19 degrees.
Mumbai
As per the latest weather update, the city and its suburbs will continue to remain clear and sunny today. The weather is likely to remain firm for the day. The maximum temperature will be 33 degrees and the minimum will be 26 degrees.
Chennai
Partially overcast conditions are on cards for Chennai today. Though, there will be no rain today in the city. The maximum temperature, for today, will be 33 degrees and the minimum will be 28 degrees.
IMD has predicted that Kolkata will also be partly overcast however no major change is predicted in the city for a few days more. The maximum temperature, for today, will be 36 degrees and the minimum will be 16 degrees.
