Weather Update: A warning has been issued by the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) regarding thunderstorms and heavy rain in numerous regions of the nation. In this context, an alert has been issued for Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Odisha, and Andhra Pradesh regarding rain accompanied by thunder and lightning. In several parts of Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, and Uttar Pradesh, intense heat can make life difficult for residents, according to IMD. Since majority cities of Bihar( including Patna), Jharkhand( including Ranchi) , Chhattisgarh, and Rajasthan are experiencing extremely high temperatures, a warning has been issued. There is a warning in these states that heat from the sky is expected.

IMD forecasts that there will probably be isolated areas of rainfall in Arunachal Pradesh, Tamil Nadu( including Chennai), Kerala, Karnataka and the capital city of West Bengal (Kolkata). There’s a good chance that Goa, Gujarat , Rajasthan, Punjab, and Haryana may all experience isolated heat wave conditions. It is quite probable that parts of West Bengal, Sikkim, Bihar, Assam and Tripura will have hot weather. There is a high probability of squally weather in the Comorin area, Gulf of Mannar, parts of Kerala coast, south Sri Lanka coast, and the southwest Bay of Bengal. Wind speeds between 45 and 55 kmph with gusts up to 65 kmph are also expected.
