Weather Update: Over the next several days, rain is predicted to fall in a number of locations in northwest India. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) predicts that the days of January 29 and 30 will be rainy in northwest India. Today,a few drizzles are expected in some regions.
It is quite possible that the Western Himalayan Region will get light to moderately widespread rainfall or snowfall due to this Western Disturbance. On January 29 and 30, mild to moderate rain that is both scattered and widespread is anticipated throughout Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, and portions of Uttar Pradesh.
Delhi
The national capital is predicted to remain under the influence of cold wave today. Rains will lash the region from tomorrow, though, some areas could get a drizzle today. Shallow fog will engulf the morning. For today, the maximum temperature will be 22 degrees and the minimum will be 10 degrees.
Mumbai
No major shift is predicted for Mumbai. Although, the temperature is likely to climb up a few notches today. The city and its suburbs will remain sunny throughout the day. For today, the maximum temperature will be 31 degrees and the minimum will be 23 degrees.
Chennai
In Chennai, no significant change is anticipated today. However, just a few isolated areas may be impacted by clouds, and the region as a whole will look much as it did the day before. The maximum and minimum temperatures for today are 30 degrees and 24 degrees, respectively.
Kolkata
According to the most recent forecast, it will be bright all day long in Kolkata. The trend is also expected to endure for a few more days. The maximum temperature today will be 31 degrees, and the minimum will be 18 degrees.

On January 28 and 29, as well as on January 29, similar weather conditions are anticipated over Rajasthan and over Delhi. Over the Western Himalayan Region on Sunday and Monday, there is a very good chance of isolated heavy rain or snowfall.
