Weather Update: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a rainfall prediction for various parts of India until August 10. Uttarakhand is expected to experience light/moderate rainfall with isolated heavy rainfall until August 10, while Uttar Pradesh may have similar weather conditions until August 9. Additionally, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, and Manipur are likely to witness light/moderate rain showers with isolated heavy downpours in the next five days. On August 8 and 9, Uttarakhand and east Uttar Pradesh may experience isolated very heavy rainfall.

Furthermore, the weather office has forecast heavy to very heavy rainfall at isolated pockets in Uttarakhand, east Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Manipur, and Tripura on August 8, and in Uttarakhand and east Uttar Pradesh on August 9. On August 10, similar weather conditions are anticipated in Uttarakhand, Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura.

Delhi

IMD has projected the national capital to remain partly cloudy throughout the day. However, the weather will remain mostly hot & humid today. The maximum temperature, for today, will be 36 degrees while the maximum will be 27 degrees with humidity at 64%.

Mumbai

Mumbai and its suburbs will remain mostly cloudy. Though, conditions are likely to improve from tomorrow. Isolated regions could experience little rainfall today. The maximum temperature, for today, will be 29 degrees while the maximum will be 27 degrees with humidity at 76%.

Chennai

As per the latest weather update, Chennai will remain mostly sunny with hot & humid conditions. The remaining week will remain mostly similar. For today, the maximum temperature will be 35 degrees while the minimum will be 28 degrees with humidity at 62%.

Kolkata

No change is predicted in Kolkata's weather. The region will experience moderate to high rainfall with thunderstorms throughout the week. For today, the maximum temperature will be 28 degrees while the minimum will be 26 degrees with humidity at 94%.
