Weather Update: In the latest forecast, IMD has issued alerts on thunderstorms, lightning, hailstorms, and gusty winds for various parts of India. Isolated places in Uttarakhand, Jammu And Kashmir, and Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim may see thunderstorms, lightning, and hailstorms. Thunderstorms with lightning and gusty winds are expected in isolated places over Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, West Uttar Pradesh, East Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura.

For the next one or two days, the eastern regions of India are expected to experience scorching temperatures as heatwaves are predicted to persist in these areas. According to the Met Office's update on Wednesday, states in Eastern India such as Bihar, West Bengal, Jharkhand, and Odisha are at risk of being affected by the heatwave.

Delhi

The weather in Delhi is expected to be hot and dry with temperatures ranging from 23°C to 34°C. The forecast indicates partly cloudy skies with no chance of rain. There is no change predicted in the weather conditions until the weekend.

Mumbai

Based on a recent weather update, it appears that Mumbai and its surrounding suburbs will experience a day of sunshine and humidity. The forecast suggests that no relief from the heat is expected for the next few days. Temperatures are predicted to range between 27 and 35 degrees Celsius.

Chennai

Chennai is in for a sunny and bright day ahead. The sky is expected to remain clear and sunny, with little chance of any significant weather changes. However, humidity levels are likely to remain high, making for a sticky and uncomfortable day. The temperature is forecasted to range from 29 to 36 degrees Celsius.

Kolkata

IMD has predicted tat Kolkata is set to experience a slightly warmer day, with lower humidity levels and moderate winds. The sky is expected to remain clear and sunny throughout the day. Temperatures are forecasted to range from 29 to 42 degrees Celsius.
