Weather Update: The Meteorological Department reports that there could be rainfall in few parts of the nation including certain eastern parts of the country. The western disturbance is however slow down now. Many parts of India are now suffering heatwaves, as reported by the India Meteorological Department. West Bengal, Odisha and Bihar have all seen exceptionally hot weather recently. The meteorological service has stated that rainfall is anticipated in the Delhi-NCR districts. However there might be scorching heat in Delhi today, if the weather doesn’t favours for rainfall. A day before today recorded the highest maximum temperature as 45.4°C at Kalaikunda (Gangetic West Bengal) and Kandla (Saurashtra & Kutch).

According to IMD, there is a high chance of rainfall in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya. It is likely that Assam, Tripura, Goa, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Karnataka will have hot weather today. Heat wave conditions, ranging from mild to extreme, are predicted to be prevalent in numerous areas across certain regions of Andhra Pradesh, West Bengal, Bihar, Odisha, Jharkhand, Telangana and Karnataka. However the temperature expected for Ranchi and Patna will be hot during daytime.
