Weather Update: Severe Heatwave in Delhi, Patna and Lucknow; Check Conditions in Mumbai and Kolkata

Weather Update: The Indian Meteorological Department stated that Odisha would have hot and humid conditions. However there would be severely heatwave situations in states/ UTs like Punjab, Haryana and Delhi. The same is predicted for Bihar , Uttar Pradesh along with their capital cities( Bihar & Lucknow). The maximum temperature recorded yesterday was ranging between 42 degree Celsius to 45 degree Celsius in parts of Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Delhi, Haryana and Gujarat. However, the same weather conditions are also being speculated in these states for today.

Weather Update: Maximum temperature forecast by IMD

The IMD has forecasted the maximum temperature of the day for these Indian states for June 10, 2024 .

According to the IMD forecast, the capital city of West Bengal and the city of joy, Kolkata would have clear sky in day time.

According to IMD, the south-west monsoon has expanded further into sections of the Arabian Sea along with the Mumbai city. The coastal areas of Maharashtra would see heavy rainfalls today. However the isolated place of Kerala, West Bengal and Sikkim. All 7 north eastern states would see heavy rainfall today. The isolated parts of Madhya Pradesh may see thundershowers along with lightning as per the Meterological department of India. However, many parts of North East regions would face thundershowers today.
