Weather Update: IMD predicts heavy rainfall, fall in temperature, rise in the density of fog and Squally weather with gusts wind in for our country. There is a good chance of isolated areas of heavy to extremely heavy rainfall over Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Karaikal, as well as across Kerala, Mahe, and coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam, and Rayalaseema. Thunderstorm with lightning, gusty gusts, between 30 and 40 kmph, and perhaps isolated locations over Kerala and Mahe, as well as isolated locations over Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Karaikal. Dense fog is probably present in a few isolated areas across Nagaland, Meghalaya, Assam, Mahapuram and Mizoram

It is quite possible that squally weather with wind gusts of up to 55 kmph will persist across the southwest and adjacent west central Bay of Bengal, as well as along and off the shores of Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu, the Gulf of Mannar, and the Comorin area. It is advised that fishermen avoid these regions.

Air quality index of Delhi

Delhi's Air Quality Index (AQI) was 365 Thursday, indicating that the capital's air quality continued to worsen daily. The 24-hour average AQI, which is reported every day, was 319 on Saturday, 405 on Friday, and 419 on Thursday, according to reports. The city's AQI was 348 on Monday, down from 301 on Sunday.
