There’s a good chance of isolated thunderstorms with lightning and gusty winds (30–40 kmph) across Kerala and Mahe, as well as isolated thunderstorms with lightning over Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam, Telangana, Rayalaseema, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Karaikal. Squally weather is quite likely to be over East Central and the neighbouring Southeast Arabian Sea, with wind speeds of 40–45 kmph and gusts up to 55 kmph. It is advised that fishermen avoid these regions.
