IMD forecasts that there will likely be isolated pockets of dense to extremely dense fog over West Bengal, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, and Sikkim, Bihar; dense fog in numerous areas of Uttar Pradesh; in some areas of Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, and Delhi; and in isolated pockets over West Madhya Pradesh, West Rajasthan, and Uttarakhand. It is quite probable that there will be cold to extremely cold days in several areas of Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, and Uttar Pradesh; there may also be isolated pockets of cold days in Uttarakhand, Rajasthan, and Bihar. There is a high probability of isolated pockets of cold wave conditions over West Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, and Chandigarh.
