Weather Update: According to the Meteorological Department, North India will have dense to extremely dense fog during the next two days. You'll begin to feel some relief after two days. Simultaneously, frigid days are becoming the cause of extreme cold, and these days will eventually pass. The Meteorological Department reports that the minimum temperature in Chandigarh, Delhi, Haryana, Uttarakhand, and Punjab is between three and six degrees Celsius on Republic Day. It will begin to decrease in two days. It is possible that the chill will go away after two days, on January 28. Apart from this, some parts of Uttar Pradesh, Northwest Rajasthan, and Madhya Pradesh have minimal temperatures of 7 to 10 degrees Celsius.

IMD forecasts that there will likely be isolated pockets of dense to extremely dense fog over West Bengal, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, and Sikkim, Bihar; dense fog in numerous areas of Uttar Pradesh; in some areas of Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, and Delhi; and in isolated pockets over West Madhya Pradesh, West Rajasthan, and Uttarakhand. It is quite probable that there will be cold to extremely cold days in several areas of Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, and Uttar Pradesh; there may also be isolated pockets of cold days in Uttarakhand, Rajasthan, and Bihar. There is a high probability of isolated pockets of cold wave conditions over West Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, and Chandigarh.
