Weather Update: Heavy to very heavy rainfall is extremely expected across the Nicobar Islands, as well as heavy rainfall over Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Karaikal. Thunderstorms with lightning are very likely over Jammu-Kashmir-Ladakh-Gilgit-Baltistan-Muzaffarabad, Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam, Rayalaseema, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry & Karaikal, and Kerala & Mahe. Squally weather (wind speeds of 20-30 kmph gusting to 40 kmph) is expected to prevail over the South Andaman Sea and the neighbouring Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Fishermen should avoid going into these locations.

Snowfall in Jammu and Kashmir; Rajasthan is having rainfall

Many Punjab areas, including Ludhiana and Jalandhar, will remain cloudy and receive light rain. The highest day temperature in most districts will be between 20 and 22 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature will be between 13 and 15 degrees Celsius. Rajasthan's rainy season has begun. On Tuesday, Barmer received a total of 60 mm of rain. At the same time, snow has fallen in Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand's hilly parts. In Jammu and Kashmir, however, the temperature has dropped marginally. The cold has gotten worse as the temperature has dropped due to the rain.
