On December 16 and 17, there is a good chance of isolated snowfall or rainfall over Jammu, Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit, Baltistan, and Muzaffarabad. Over the next five days, there won't be any noteworthy weather over the remaining portions of the nation.

With a western disturbance expected to bring rain to the lower parts of the hill state and snow to the higher regions of Himachal Pradesh, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast a gradual drop in the minimum temperature by 2-3 C. Squally weather with wind speeds of 40–45 kmph with gusts up to 55 kmph is expected to prevail over the Comorin area and the nearby Maldives; similarly, squally wind with speeds of 45–55 kmph with gusts up to 65 kmph is likely to prevail over the coast of Somalia and the surrounding southwest Arabian Sea. It is recommended that fishermen stay away from these areas.
