Weather Update: The Meteorological Department predicts thunderstorms in Punjab and rain in Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh. In addition, there is a possibility of snowfall in northern parts of the nation. It includes Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, and Jammu Kashmir. The disturbances from the west are expected to provide some relief from the hot summers for the National Capital. The plains of northwest India will also be affected. For the next two days, Delhi is under a storm and rain alert, according to the Meteorological Department. Along with the nation’s capital, the capital city of Tamil Nadu, Chennai may have moderate rainfall today. The department did draw attention to the expected rainfall in northwest India, with the exception of the areas around Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir.

According to IMD, there is a cyclonic circulation in the lower tropospheric levels over few parts of Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh. In the following two days, Northwest India is likely to witness a new Western Disturbance. IMD forecasts that there will likely be rain in Arunachal Pradesh. It is quite probable that few parts of Gujarat, West Bengal, Kerala, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh & Tamil Nadu may have hot day. There’s a good chance that few parts of the West Bengal, Andhra Pradesh, Odisha and Telangana will experience heat waves. There is a high probability of warm night conditions in several areas of Maharashtra.
