Weather Update: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) predicts a rise in maximum temperatures across various regions of India in the next few days. Over the next two-three days, the east coast is expected to experience heatwave conditions, as reported by the IMD. In a statement, IMD stated, "Heat wave conditions in isolated pockets is very likely over Vidarbha on 15th; Odisha during 15th to 17th and Gangetic West Bengal on 16th and over Coastal Andhra Pradesh on 15th & 16th May."

Speaking on rainfall, IMD stated, "Heavy rainfall very likely at isolated places over Arunachal Pradesh on 15th & 16th; over Assam & Meghalaya and Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura during 15th to 19th May."

Delhi

Today, the forecast for the national capital indicates warm weather with the likelihood of heatwave conditions. Expect clear skies and abundant sunshine throughout the day. The maximum temperature is projected to reach 41 degrees, while the minimum temperature is expected to be 28 degrees.

Mumbai

According to the IMD, the city and its suburbs will experience partly overcast conditions in the morning. However, as the day progresses, it is expected to become sunny and clear. The humidity levels will remain at 63%. The maximum temperature for the day will reach 34 degrees, while the minimum temperature will be 29 degrees.

Chennai

The weather forecast for Chennai indicates predominantly clear skies throughout the day. The humidity levels are expected to remain at 84%. The maximum temperature is projected to reach 37 degrees, while the minimum temperature will be around 28 degrees.

Kolkata

According to the forecast, Kolkata will enjoy sunny weather throughout the day, with some patches of clouds in the evening. Rainfall is expected to arrive in the city starting from tomorrow. The humidity levels will be around 82%. The maximum temperature is anticipated to reach 37 degrees, while the minimum temperature will be around 28 degrees.
