Weather Update: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) predicts a rise in maximum temperatures across various regions of India in the next few days. Over the next two-three days, the east coast is expected to experience heatwave conditions, as reported by the IMD. In a statement, IMD stated, "Heat wave conditions in isolated pockets is very likely over Vidarbha on 15th; Odisha during 15th to 17th and Gangetic West Bengal on 16th and over Coastal Andhra Pradesh on 15th & 16th May."
Speaking on rainfall, IMD stated, "Heavy rainfall very likely at isolated places over Arunachal Pradesh on 15th & 16th; over Assam & Meghalaya and Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura during 15th to 19th May."
