Weather Update: The mercury is soaring in various regions of India, with maximum temperatures exceeding the usual range in the west, northwest, and central parts of the country. As per the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the maximum temperatures in these regions are anticipated to be three to five degrees Celsius higher than usual. However, the IMD has also predict that the summers will arrive sooner this year with temperature already surging.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecasted that there will be light to moderate rainfall or thundershower in the northeastern states until February 23. Arunachal Pradesh might experience isolated heavy falls on Tuesday and Wednesday. This rainfall is expected due to the southwesterly winds coming from the Bay of Bengal.

Delhi

The national capital is predicted to remain majorly clear and sunny today. However, moderate clouds could create problems at isolated locations. For today, the maximum temperature will be 29 degrees and minimum temperature will be 14 degrees.

Mumbai

Mumbai and its suburbs are likely to remain partly overcast. However, the temperature will continue to remain higher. Moreover, clear weather is predicted until the weekend. For today, the maximum temperature will be 32 degrees and minimum will be 23 degrees.

Chennai

Clear sky is predicted to remain over Chennai. The humidity will comparatively be lesser and similar trend in weather is anticipated for the upcoming days. For today, the maximum temperature will be 31 degrees and minimum will be 23 degrees.

Kolkata

As per the latest weather update, Kolkata is predicted to continue with its spree of pleasant days. The sky will remain clear and no major shift is predicted in the weather. For today, the maximum temperature will be 33 degrees while the minimum will be 24 degrees.
