Weather Update: Temperature Soars, Rain Teases; Heatwave Alert in Bihar, West Bengal, Rajasthan and Beyond! Will Showers Bring Relief?

Weather Update: Temperatures are on the rise once more across various regions of the country, including North India. While there was temporary relief in the past due to several days of rain, the rainy season has now concluded in most areas, and the maximum temperature has begun to climb. According to the Meteorological Department, six states, including Bihar and Maharashtra, are expected to experience heatwaves.

The Andaman and Nicobar Islands have been experiencing rainfall for several consecutive days as a result of the Mocha Cyclone, and this pattern is expected to persist in the upcoming days. Additionally, a heatwave advisory has been issued for Rajasthan from May 12 to 13, as well as for Coastal Andhra Pradesh from May 13 to 15. Rainfall alerts remain in effect for the southern states of India. According to the Meteorological Department, Kerala and Mahe can anticipate light to moderate rain over the next five days.

Delhi

The national capital is projected to remain sunny and bright today as well, with the temperature soaring even higher as well. This trend will continue in the upcoming days as well. For today, the maximum temperature will be 41 degrees and the minimum will be 27 degrees.

Mumbai

The start of the day will begin with partly overcast conditions. However, it will become sunny from thereon and will remain so. Humidity will remain at 76% while the maximum temperature will be 34 degrees and the minimum will be 29 degrees.

Chennai

Chennai is expected to experience partial cloudiness throughout the day, with no significant changes anticipated in the region. The maximum temperature for today will be 37 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature will be 29 degrees Celsius. Additionally, the humidity level is expected to remain at 83%.

Kolkata

The weather forecast indicates that Kolkata is expected to have a partly overcast sky. Today, the maximum temperature is predicted to reach 37 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature will be around 28 degrees Celsius. Furthermore, the humidity level is anticipated to remain at 84%.
