Weather Update: According to the IMD, there will be likely a new round of rain, thunderstorms around the parts of Central India and its neighbouring parts. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has stated that over the next few hours, thunderstorms with rainfall are likely to have in parts of NCR. The same is predicted for the Jharkhand’s capital city Ranchi. In addition, Sikkim,West Bengal, Odisha and other areas have all received heatwave warnings. There may be possible hailstorms across Northern parts including Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh and Delhi.

According to IMD, there will be probably rainfall in selected parts of Jammu and Kashmir, Assam, Meghalaya, Tripura, Andhra Pradesh, Goa, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Kerala are all expected to have hot weather conditions. It is highly probable that heat wave conditions will prevail in various regions of UP(including Lucknow), Odisha, Jharkhand, Bihar( including Patna) and few other parts of the nation.
