Weather Update: The weather in the northern parts of the country has changed, with less heat and temperatures lower than what's usually expected. However, the temperatures have returned to their normal in Southern states such as Karnataka and Tamil Nadu. On the other hand, the yellow alert for Himachal Pradesh continues today as well. The upper reaches are likely to be lashed by rains and hailstorms.
It is forecasted to start raining in the morning in some plain regions. Certain parts of Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, and Delhi will experience rain today. On March 25, the rain will stop in Rajasthan, but it will move to the Western region of Uttar Pradesh. The amount of rain on March 25th will be less compared to March 24th.
As already mentioned above, the national capital will experience rain throughout the day. Morning will be clear but will soon be covered by clouds and scattered thunderstorms will then lash the region from afternoon. The maximum temperature will be 29 degrees whereas the minimum will be 19 degrees.
Mumbai
Mumbai and its suburbs are predicted to remain mostly clear throughout the day with temperature being cooler than earlier. Also, the weather trend is forecast to continue for few days. The maximum temperature will be 32 degrees and minimum will be 25 degrees.
Chennai
As per the latest weather update, there will be moderate cloud cover in the city today. However, a major part of day will remain clear. The maximum and minimum temperatures will be 32 degrees and 28 degrees respectively.
IMD has predicted Kolkata to remain dry and sunny today. However, there will be heavy rains beginning from next week. The maximum temperature, for today, will be 33 degrees and 24 degrees.
