Weather Update: There has been a downfall in temperature due to the cold in all of the northern Indian states, including Delhi. In many states, including Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Punjab, and Haryana, the lowest temperature is steadily dropping. Early in the morning, a cover of fog is seen over Delhi, the nation's capital.

The temperature has been getting cooler since the evening, too. The cold will start to be troublesome in the following days as the minimum temperature continues to drop, according to the Meteorological Department.

Delhi

For today, Delhi's maximum temperature will be at 26 degrees, and its lowest temperature will be at 11 degrees. The national capital and the NCR regions have morning fog. In several spots, visibility is very poor. At the same time, there is no chance that the level of pollution getting any better.

Mumbai

As per the latest weather update, the city and its suburbs are predicted to be mostly cloudy with no chance of rain happening. However, it is likely that from Monday, these cloud covers will vanish and Mumbai will experience sunny and bright days. For today, the maximum temperature will be 33 degrees and minimum will be 25 degrees.

Chennai

As per the IMD, Chennai is likely to experience scattered thunderstorms with heavy rains. Although, from Monday, the city will get relief as no rains are predicted from Monday to Thursday. For today, the maximum temperature will be 26 degrees while the minimum will be 23 degrees.

Kolkata

Kokata is predicted to be mainly sunny with clouds not at all affecting the city. The weather patterns will be similar for a days more in the city. For today, the maximum temperature will be 28 degrees while the minimum will be 17 degrees.

Parts of South Tamil Nadu and the Andaman & Nicobar Islands may experience light rain today with one or two periods of moderate rain. Over Kerala and Tamil Nadu, isolated light rain is possible. In isolated locations, light rain may fall over coastal Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh, Gilgit-Baltistan, Muzaffarabad, and the upper reaches of Jammu and Kashmir.
