Weather Update: The India Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert for Mumbai and the neighbouring districts, including Raigad and Ratnagiri, due to the possibility of heavy to extremely heavy rainfall. However, the rain may also interrupt daily activities and result in floods in low-lying regions.The IMD has also issued a warning, stating that there will probably be substantial effects on infrastructure and transportation over this period of time. It is predicted that the nation’s capital will mostly have cloudy skies, light to moderate rainfall, with sporadic thunderstorms. Because of the rain, the IMD has issued a yellow alert for Delhi, signalling possible inconveniences. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecasts additional rainfall in the Delhi-NCR region.

The Indian Meteorological Department’s Lucknow Centre has forecasted thunderstorms and heavy rain in many areas of Uttar Pradesh, including sporadic showers in Lucknow. As per the IMD forecast, the capital of Bihar, Patna would have cloudy sky. The maximum temperature of the city is predicted to have 34 degree Celsius whereas the minimum temperature can be 28 degrees Celsius. IMD forecasts a probability of light rain, thunder, and lightning for Bhopal. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a heavy rainfall alert for a number of states, including Uttarakhand and its capital, Dehradun. The city may possibly experience some light rain.

The India Meteorological Department predicts that there will be likely heavy to extremely heavy rainfall with extremely heavy precipitation in some areas over Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Mizoram, Tripura, Goa, Maharashtra, Gujarat. However, IMD predicts heavy to extremely heavy rains in some parts of states like Rajasthan, West Bengal, Odisha, Meghalaya and Karnataka. Heavy rain is expected in some areas over Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Assam, Nagaland, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Karnataka, according to the IMD prediction.
