Weather Update: Starting today and lasting until 15 June, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a yellow alert for Uttarakhand, signalling heavy rainfall in the region. Furthermore, the weather department has forecast light to moderate rainfall, along with thunderstorms and lightning, in Northeast India over the course of the next four days.

During the upcoming three days, the Meteorological Department (MeT) has anticipated substantial rainfall at specific locations in Kerala and coastal Karnataka. Similarly, over the next two days, heavy rainfall is expected over the region of Lakshadweep. Meanwhile, North India will continue to have warm weather.

Delhi

IMD has forecast that there will be no change in the weather trends for the national capital today as well. The day will remain mostly clear and have a sunny sky. This is likely to continue throughout this week. For today, the maximum temperature will be 42 degrees while the minimum will be 31 degrees.

Mumbai

Mumbai and its suburbs will experience moderate rainfall along with scattered thunderstorms. The complete week will have a rainy weather. The maximum temperature, for today, will be 33 degrees and the minimum will be 28 degrees, with humidity at 79%.

Chennai

As per the latest weather update, Chennai is predicted to remain rather pleasant today with partly overcast conditions taking on throughout the day. This week is likely to remain in the same trends. The maximum temperature, for today, will be 37 degrees while the minimum will be 29 degrees. Meanwhile, humidity will be at 72%.

Kolkata

Kolkata is predicted to have a pleasant day. The day will begin with rains and continue throughout the day with brief intervals. Day will mostly remain cloudy. The maximum temperature, for today, will be 36 degrees while the minimum will be 28 degrees. Meanwhile, humidity will be at 86%.
