West Bengal: TMC member fired upon in South 24 Parganas

West Bengal: On Monday, a Trinamool Congress employee was fired upon as he was walking home in Bengal’s South 24 Parganas. The employee has been identified as Gosaba native Manoranjan Mandal.

Event occurs ahead of the state’s panchayat elections

He was taken to a hospital in Canning town after being shot in the back. The event occurs before the state’s panchayat elections.
The attack’s motive was not immediately clear, and no one has been taken into custody to date.

TMC’s ground tour

The expected date for the West Bengal panchayat elections is March 2023. The TMC has requested that all of its leaders go on a thorough ground tour in light of the poll results.
