The All India Muslim Personal Law Board has said in the Supreme Court that women can offer namaz with the Jamaat in the mosque. There is no restriction on Muslim women entering the mosque in Islam. In the second petition, the Muslim Personal Law Board has filed an affidavit. In fact, a hearing is going on in the Supreme Court regarding Muslim women offering namaz in the mosque. In this petition, a demand was made to instruct Muslim women to enter mosques.
Giving Islamic context, the board said that in all the mosques around the holy Kaaba in Mecca, men and women are not allowed to offer prayers together.
Muslim women can offer Namaz in mosques
There is a ban on women and men offering Namaz together. But this does not mean that women cannot pray in the mosque. Muslim women can enter mosques and they can also offer namaz. There is nothing to be confused about. Muslim women can offer Namaz in those mosques where arrangements are made for them. It depends on the facility available.
Muslim women welcomed the decision
Muslim women have said that the affidavit given by the board is justified, they welcome this decision. He said that this is the answer to those fundamentalists, who have been opposing it for a long time. Some Muslim women have filed a petition in the Supreme Court that they should also be allowed to offer namaz in the mosque. During the hearing of this matter, the Muslim Personal Law Board has filed an affidavit.
