Wrestler The Great Khali’s mother passes away

Tandi Devi, the Great Khali’s mother, has passed away in a Ludhiana hospital following a fight with multi-organ problems. She died on Sunday at the age of 75, according to hospital officials.

She was suffering from breathing issues for the past two years. Earlier she was being treated at a private hospital in Jalandhar and was moved to Ludhiana last week. Khali’s mother was put on the ventilator on Thursday.

“Wrestler Khali’s mother passes away due to multiple organ failure at Ludhiana’s DMC hospital,” said the hospital in a press release.

Dilip Singh Rana popularly known as The Great Khali debuted in professional wrestling in the year 2000. Prior to joining the WWE, he worked as a police officer in Punjab. Khali went on to become the WWE Champion throughout his WWE tenure.

In addition, he has appeared in four Hollywood films and two Bollywood films. As part of the class of 2021, he was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.

He is famously remember for his battle against the Under Taker and David Bautista. The colossal superstar who became the first Indian wrestler to hold a WWE belt.He has also appeared in four Hollywood films and two Bollywood films.
